Please accept our appologies if you received a message from the African Spammers who hit the site a few minutes ago.

Thanks to our excellent members and Spam prevention system, we were able to isolate the account and remove them before they sent messages to the entire community.  We will work harder to make sure the next spammers are stopped quicker.  FYI: They were only able to send 40 message before being banned.

On a serious note, we have now put into place certain filters to restrict access to our network from particular countries.  Honestly, I dont have enough time in the day to fight the spammers so I am taking a much more hardline approach.

Here's some good news...

Our servers will now deny access to several countries known for spamming.  The main source of these douchbags is Africa.  While this won't guarantee 100% effectiveness (just like sex, nothing does)... But it will help with the problem.

Now, for the bad news...

By essentially blocking MILLIONS of IPs, we potentially block some of our members.  If that's the case, you would not be reading this right now. LOL  So over the next couple days we will need to perform extensive testing to ensure all our FLORIDA members have complete access.

I guess that's not so bad unless you are the moderator!!!!
